Durban’s Oceans Building – part of the well-known Oceans Mall – is currently undergoing a major refurbishment, and the site is relying on more than just scaffolding and manpower. Partnering with GEDA GmbH, SkyJacks supplied and supported a combination of transport platforms and material hoists that helped streamline an incredibly complex build.  

Two GEDA 500 Z/ZP transport platforms, along with a GEDA 300 Z material hoist, played a central role in keeping materials and people moving efficiently across the fully-scaffolded structure. Their flexibility, compact design and impressive lifting capabilities proved invaluable on a project of this scale.

Our Divisional Director, Stephan Naudé, noted the clear improvements delivered by the equipment – from reduced labour requirements to impressive time savings and stronger ergonomics across the board.
